The Cannes Film Festival kicked off this week and we're super jealous we're not there to take in all the swanky, over-the-top fun... but then again we probably couldn't afford it anyway.
In lieu of our attendance -- don't worry, we're sad about it, too -- we decided to dive deep into the Getty archives to find some delicious photographs of the splendid seaside town from back in the day.
What we found was lots of tanned bodies in really awesome bathing suits on a beach that looks dreamy on a day like today. We also decided that if we could go back in time and live in a 1950s photograph, if even just for one hour, we'd be happy.
So join us, won't you, and soak up le soleil, n'est-ce pas?
